The Art of Bread


I'm not going to gush here, but my man can bake a loaf. Let me tell ya. No, better yet, let me show you. This is so yummy I can't stand it. Carbs be damned. This sunflower wheat loaf is great.

Funny you should post this because just yesterday my husband and I were discussing why we'd both gained weight since Christmas, in spite of increased exercise, and realised -- I got a bread maker (I know -- not the same as hand-kneading) for Christams and we have had more yummy bread in the past two months than the previous 10! Time to put the bread maker away for a couple of months, so stop tempting me!! :)

andrea - ooohh those lazy hazy crazy days of february... bleh! at least the bread machine makes one happy... rainer used that for the kneading and then forms it and puts it into the oven. makes it wAY too easy!
